Zarif charges Trump and Europe with moral hypocrisy

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Friday accused France, Germany and Britain of serving Iran’s arch-foes the United States and Israel by drafting a nuclear resolution against Tehran.

“Behind (the) facade, E3 are accessories to (U.S. President Donald) Trump & (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu—& in no position to counsel Iran,” Zarif tweeted.

The U.N. nuclear watchdog’s 35-nation Board of Governors called on Iran in the resolution earlier on Friday to stop denying the agency access to two suspected former nuclear sites and to cooperate fully with it, diplomats attending the meeting said.

  1. What a farce. What does oil-rich Iran need nuclear power for, other than acquiring the necessary elements for building nuclear weapons. If they are allowed to actually acquire such weapons then God help us all because they will have not the least misgivings for starting an all-out nuclear war. Individual suicide bombers will pale in comparison to an entire nation carrying out nuclear suicide bombings. In their twisted, Islamic world view, anything goes – even their own self destruction – so long as Israel is wiped off the map.
