UAE sends 6 trucks of medical aid to Gaza

The U.A.E.’s Red Crescent (ERC) has provided its field hospital in Gaza Strip with six trucks of medical aid to help treat the Palestinians injured in the ongoing attack on Gaza.

Emad Abu al-Laban, Director of ERC Office in Gaza, said the medical aid convoy was taken to the field hospital which was set up by ERC in Deir Al Balah, Gaza, and is now being run by Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

An ERC delegation led by Secretary-General, Mohammad Ateeq Al Falahi, arrived in Gaza on Thursday to prepare the convoy and inspect the agency’s relief operation aimed at easing the suffering of Gazan Palestinians.

The delegation also visited injured Palestinians being treated at al-Quds Hospital which is run by PRCS.

U.A.E.’s Red Crescent continues to distribute thousands of iftar (Muslim fast breaking meal) and suhour (pre-dawn meal) food packages to Palestinians during the Holy Month of Ramdan.
