Fujairah herlads Free Zone Authority to market Algerian products

Khalid Mohammed Al Jassim, Director-General of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has highlighted the chamber’s keenness to reinforce its ties with friendly countries and connect business owners with their peers in other countries, to exchange information and establish investment partnerships in various commercial, industrial, and services sectors.

This came during a meeting between Al Jassim and Bazzaz Mabrouk, Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Batna Province in Algeria, where the discussed ways of reinforcing commercial and economic ties between Fujairah and Algeria, as well as available investment opportunities.

Al Jassim stressed the chamber’s readiness to coordinate with relevant local departments in providing facilitations for businessmen from Algeria who seek to invest in the emirate, while noting the possibility of establishing a commercial project with the Free Zone Authority to market Algerian products in the region.

He also highlighted the importance of exchanging visits between businessmen and holding joint events to develop their cooperation.

Mabrouk praised Fujairah’s significant economic development, while highlighting the desire of Algerian businessmen to develop their relations with businessmen from Fujairah.

He also noted various investment opportunities in Algeria’s industrial, agricultural, tourism and food production sectors, while pointing out that his country is one of the world’s major gas producers.

He then invited the Fujairah chamber to visit Algeria, to meet with Algerian businessmen and explore business opportunities.
