Akkar Braces for Showdown with State Over Garbage

The Levant News — A showdown appears set between Akkar residents and authorities as Agriculture Minister Akram Chehayeb announced Wednesday that trucks would soon begin to haul Mount Lebanon trash to a waste disposal ground there.
