The conference, inaugurated by Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, sees the participation of more than 3,000 business leaders, financial experts and decision-makers from 110 nations.
It will highlight prominent global issues and challenges facing the internal auditing sector, as well as digital transformation and business stability, in addition to emerging concepts on governance, the management of risks, corruption and fraud, dynamic internal auditing, information security, communications and relations, and other topics.
The conference will host educational sessions, lectures and workshops under the supervision of leaders in concerned fields. Lectures will be presented by 100 global leaders in the field, and participants will receive an opportunity to receive their Continuous Professional Development accreditations. The conference also represents a platform for fellow experts from public and private institutions to exchange ideas and opinions and learn something new.
In the conference’s keynote address, Abdul Qader Obaid Ali, President of IIA, spoke about Dubai’s journey to host the most important internal auditing event in the world. He thanked the diligent efforts of the conference’s organising committee for the UAE to host this event, which he described as another feather in the UAE’s cap.
