Son of radical Lebanon sheikh killed fighting with ISIS in Iraq: reports

THE LEVANT NEWS — BEIRUT: Local media Tuesday said the son of an imprisoned north Lebanon preacher has been killed fighting alongside ISIS in Iraq.

Media said Bilal Omar Fustoq, son of Omar Bakri Fustoq, was killed during clashes with the Iraqi army in the northeastern part of Salahuddin province, north of the capital Baghdad.

His father was sentenced to six years in prison with hard labor by the Military Tribunal in October after being convicted of forming an armed terrorist organization affiliated to the Nusra Front in north Lebanon.

He was also convicted of establishing militant training camps in the north.
