Iraqi security forces say twin bomb attacks in central Baghdad have killed at least 26 people, following weeks of relative calm in the Iraqi capital.
The bombings occurred at Aviation Square in the Iraqi capital on Monday morning.
The Interior Ministry said in a preliminary statement that 65 people have also been injured in the attacks. A heath official in eastern Baghdad put the number of the wounded at 90.
The death toll is expected to rise.
The Iraqi capital has experienced relative security in the weeks after the defeat of the Takfiri terrorist group of Daesh in early December last year.
